Hillary’s 527 Group, American Leadership Project, Hits Ohio

From Marc Ambinder’s interesting report

Allies of Hillary Clinton plan an expensive, stealth campaign to buttress her standing in the must-win states of Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania.

They’re canvassing Clinton donors for pledges of up to $100,000 in the hope of raising at least $10M by the end of next week. The money will be placed in the account of a political committee organized under section 527 of the tax code.

A Democrat who was briefed on the project said that Pennsylvania attorney William A. K. Titelman is leading the effort to solicit money. Titleman, who raised money for Gov. Bill Richardson’s presidential campaign, has not contributed money to Clinton. He did not respond to an e-mail seeking comment.

wclinton.jpgOf course Hillary denies knowing anything about this 527 Group, even though it is run by veterans of the Clinton White House. This is just like when she doesn’t remember Peter Paul, David Rosen, or illegally coordinating and soliciting $1.6 million contributions for a Gala to support her Senate campaign. What about remembering her criminal activity at Rose Law Firm or her role in White Water?

Hillary is so famously unaware and forgetful about her political dealings that there is even a somewhat dated, catchy song about it. Click here to listen.

This primary ain’t over ’till she cackles. Especially as the Superdelegates can overrule the people, the Clinton’s can find a way to break the DNC rules and have Florida and Michigan delegates seated, and poach Obama’s pledged delegates.

To the Clinton campaign: Please stop. The American people are tired of this type of politics and unethical action.

To everyone else: Please vote Obama.

Is it true that Obama’s theme song is “Everything to Everyone” by Everclear?
