The Professor of the 216 makes a excellent point here. The Columbus Dispatch article about Anthony Gutierrez, Ohio AG Marc Dann’s director general services, is probably saying that this was more than sexual harassment. It sounds more like a sexual assault! Read this passage again:

Less than three weeks after (Cindy) Stankoski was hired, (Dann section chief Anthony) Gutierrez pressed her on Sept. 10 to have a drink with him after work. He took her to two Downtown bars before ending up at Mitchell’s Steakhouse. There Gutierrez received a call from Dann, urging borth of them to come to the condo for pizza. [...]

Though she was becoming intoxicated and increasingly uncomfortable with Gutierrez’s sexual comments, Stankoski decided to go along. Dann was at the condo when they arrived…. Stankoski said by that time, she was feeling very tipsy and asked if she could lay down. Gutierrez told her she could use the bedroom. She awoke several hours later, she said, to find three buttons on her pants undone and Gutierrez lying beside her wearing only underwear.

Channel 10 in Columbus published a picture of Gutierrez, who allegedly told the two women “You owe me” in reference to the state jobs he got for them. Here is Dann’s pervert condo roomie below. Is this guy a rapist?:

Dann spokesman Leo Jennings is quoted as saying, “Any implication there was some sort of cover up is totally false.” And yet, they are keeping damning cellphone records away from public scrutiny and are trying to settle this out of court… which would probably be followed by gag orders.

In addition, not only was Gutierrez hired while on a payment plan to pay back $10,000 in delinquent federal income taxes, once filed bankruptcy, and has more than two dozen liens and judgments against him, but it is also possible that Gutierrez was running his construction firm from the AG’s office.

Gutierrez is currently suspended and on paid leave as the cover up investigations into Condogate continue.
