Dann Denies Condogate

Tags: marc dann“She’s never been in my house wearing pajamas, so she certainly wasn’t there that night in pajamas,” [Ohio Attorney General Marc] Dann told reporters Wednesday, April 9. “That’s just the strangest thing that I could ever imagine anyone saying. And it’s hurtful because I have children who are embarrassed by the fact that that’s been repeated over and over again in the newspaper.”
Dann likes to invoke his children often. He used the same response when former Attorney General Betty Montgomery faulted him during the 2006 elections for serving as legal counsel to a sexual predator.
And in Dann’s hometown newspaper, The Youngstown Vindicator, Bertram de Souza, the reporter with the best hair in all of Ohio media, wonders outloud:
The newspaper reported that when they got to the condo, Dann’s scheduler, Jessica Utovich, was there. According to Stankoski’s complaint, Utovich “walked in w. pj’s and laptop” and lay down on the floor to work on her computer.
Here’s how Jennings, another Valley resident, explained Utovich’s presence in the condo: He told the newspaper that staffers, including Utovich, occasionally visited the condo, but only for work-related purposes: “She was there to deliver schedules.”
Thus the question: Were the pajamas she was wearing from Victoria’s Secret? If they were, it would explain a lot, given that the world-famous lingerie chain has a line of lounge wear, such as pajamas, that are popular with women who take their work home.
The other question that Utovich’s presence in the condo triggers is this: Was Dann dressed in a smoking jacket (a la Hef —Hugh Hefner)?
It is an awful metal image to imagine chubby Dann dressed like Hugh Hefner, covered in Hawaiian pizza grease and pajama lint. eech!

In other news, I just learned that Dann’s scheduler graduated from the same high school that I did. She and former Playboy Playmate of the Year Carmella Garcia are now the two most famous people to graduate from ALHS!
Note that Dann doesn’t deny Utovich was there, only that she wasn’t in “pajamas.” Of course, as the article points out, that begs the question of what Dann’s definition of “pajama” is.
He said that she was never there in pajamas. He didn’t say that there was no personal relationship outside of work.
I’m also curious why Utovich hasn’t come out denying any wrongdoing yet. You’d think that she would have issued at least a short statment that any suggestion of hanky panky was false. I’m not saying that it must be true because she hasn’t denied the accusations and there are times that people deny things that are true. I’m just saying that I’m curious as to why she hasn’t jumped to her boss’ defense.
Maybe she sleeps in the buff?

Grow up and get real!
If you read the Plain Dealer’s article, and you listen to the actual interview (not Matt’s much-edited and biased slant on it), you’d understand that she was there to discuss work-related matters.

You blogging people should be ashamed of yourself! She was there to work. What difference does it make if she works and Mr. Dann’s office or at his condo? My boss is a young lady and I stay at her place all the time to get things done and some times I stay there till 4 to 5 in the morning especially at the busy time of the week. Hell, who cares what she is wearing…sometimes all I’m wearing is my gym shorts when its hot.
