The MSM coverage of Bentley Lenhoff’s comments yesterday make Bentley sound more reasonable than he actually was in taped interviews. He accused the media of essentially being agents of gambling interests who are out to get Dann. Good Grief.

You ask, “Who names their son after a luxury car, (sic) anyway?
The answer is, people who:
Believe in supporting members of their family
Realize no one is perfect and all are subject to human error.
Would defend your right to free expression, but who would sue
you for every cent you had (Or might have) if you defamed
them.
In addition, my statement included the Republican Party as potentially being involved in a “setup.”
Another error in your error-laden reference to me: I am NOT Marc Dann’s stepfather.
I would advise you not to respond further about me on this matter. I doubt you can afford a competent lawyer to defend yourself against a law suit involving libel and/or harassment, whereas, I have a daughter who specializes in bringing and winning such actions.
Dear Bent Out of Shape Lenhoff-
Maybe you should have shown support by being there in support rather than stirring up the pot. It seems your voice is hurting Dann instead of helping him.
PS- I think we are sticking more on the subject of what your son-in-law specializes in, and not your daughter.

Bentley, if your daughter knows these types of actions, she would know that you haven’t been libeled by minor errors like the ones you cite above. You should be more concerned about Dann’s exposing the state to liability through his actions, his perjury, and other reasons for his removal from office.

Since you read this blog, here is something for you and your family to think about.
I, along with many Ohioans, feel sorry for you, your daughter, and your grandchildren. I even feel sorry for your son-in-law for the sad state he has gotten himself into. He is obviously a troubled man.
But he and you must know that digging in for an impeachment fight is harming the office he claims to care about. Almost every employee in that office wants him to leave. They are just afraid to say so in public. I have talked to several of them, and they have said things like:
“For the first time in my career, I am ashamed to tell people where I work.”
“It’s hard to get work done in this environment.”
“Everyone in my section wants him gone.”
“A few people don’t care, but most want him gone. I don’t know a single person who wants him to stay. though.”
“The Democrats in the office are more mad than the Republicans. Even people hired by Dann want him to go.”
“I’m sure there’s even more scandal out there. I wonder if or when it will come out.”
If he has a shred of decency left, he will leave, and allow others to clean the taint from the office. By staying in, he is putting his selfish desires above duty and responsibility. He is hurting the AG family, just as he hurt your family. He should apologize to all Ohioans, and to his staff. And most of all, he should have the human decency to apologize to Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout for enabling their harasser and for putting them through hell.

Personally I am not so concerned about the extra-marital affair that Dann had, what I am pissed about is his poor judgment in selecting friends, colleagues and poor judgment in associating the office of the AG with these criminal degenerate delinquents. Birds of a feather flock together…
I find it disturbing that Dann states the consequences of his affair from his family is sufficient punishment for his poor choices. I wonder if Jennings or Gutierrez feels the same way.
Mr. Lenhoff is way off base defending Dann, however he has every right to denfend his family.
Mr. Bentley Lenhoff I voted for Marc Dann because I mistakenly thought that he had the public trust in mind. He has show himself to be a typical politician dirty corrupt fostering an environment of nepotism and cronyism with debts to organized Youngstown unions (and according to Gutierrez organized crime) and a LIAR and perjurer. You and people in elected offical-dom are all the same thinking that proletariats are ignorant serfs that are here for YOUR pleasure and consumtion like pieces of meat and with as little thought as slaughtering animals in private slaughterhouses. Once you are on top you forget what it was like down here on the bottom. Your ruling class behavior is above the careful examination of us. On the bottom we have rules, laws and moral obligation to fulfill to make life make sense to us. While you Lord over us, we must say, “Thank you” for screwing our wives on our wedding day. You politicians are brewing a bitter cup of discontent.

I voted for Dann and I want my vote back. He is a disgrace and nearly everyone in the Democratic party thinks so…look at the democratic website Dann has been REMOVED!!!!!!!!!!!! If the party chose to defend him maybe I would however it is pretty bleak when your own party deserts you.
Marc Dann betrayed my trust and stole by deception my vote, and I will sir, will get the vote back in 2010.
And for the record there isn’t anything mysterious in the veiled answer of Dann’s oppo man, “We have friends in common,” Stanford said. “Private friends. People he trusts, trust me.”

Marc Dann is a certified unfaithful pig of a dirty old man and your daughter knew 15 months ago this was happening after she threw a fit in the office about the affair. How can any wife knowingly allow an affair to continue? Sounds like one of those sick movies about voyeurs.
Your daughter and son-in-law read the sexual in nature text messages having full knowledge of the situation and as the alleged top law enforcement officer of the state Marc had the responsibility to protect the young ladies who were in danger in this situation. He failed to even protect his own family against his unfaithful ways. There are explicit penalties for those failing to report these situations when they become aware of them.
None of you can keep every current and former employees from the AG’s office silent even though local media refuses to make the public aware of the death threats certain individuals who have received after speaking out against what has happened.
This is simply about the abuse of power and the degrading treatment of women who suffered at the hands of Marc’s dear close friends. This also is about your son-in-law that can’t stay faithful to his wife that is degrading the office of Attorney General far worse than other past office holder in history.
There is a simple way for this to all end.
Marc Dann needs to resign immediately or he can be impeached.
