COLUMBUS — Marc Dann lost his job, but he’s not out of work.

On his first day as former attorney general, Dann walked two miles from his home in Liberty Twp. to his new job, helping his wife, Alyssa Lenhoff, run Zesty Dishes.

He took orders, packed dishes and pitched in, according to Mike Harshman, Dann’s long-time friend.

“He has been helpful in that business all along. It’s not something new to him,” Harshman said. Zesty Dishes sells Fiesta Dinnerware online.

Harshman said Dann is weighing his career options. He has considered the law, teaching or — sometime down the road — even another run for political office. “He is not ruling anything out is what I’m saying,” Harshman said. “He has no plans.”

Zesty Dishes sells some attractive dishes, including a high quality pizza serving set perfect for seducing an o so sexy scheduler who is 1/2 your age with Hawaiian pizza.

Dann’s wife also runs a blog for her company, which even includes some brief political commentary worthy of a Lou Dobbs broadcast. She hasn’t blogged in the past few months, and I suppose it wouldn’t be good business if she went on a rant about her womanizing husband who is a bad provider for his family, a crummy lawyer, and was probably involved in drug use along with Leo Jennings and Anthony Gutierrez.

In other news, the scheduling succubus just won’t go away and hide in shame. No, she wants her job back and is hiring lawyers to do so:

But correspondence released to reporters Friday shows that 28-year-old Jessica Utovich found out she wouldn’t get her job back at the next day’s televised news conference of investigation findings in Dann’s office. Dann admitted to an extramarital affair with a subordinate and said his actions contributed to an inappropriate atmosphere.

He resigned Wednesday.

Utovich told Dann’s administration in e-mails and letters that she was appalled by the way she had been treated and claimed she had been retaliated against.

So this drama isn’t over yet, and The Dispatch published additional details of Utovich’s soap opera her. Additional law suits from other characters from Marc Dann’s frat house are also expected. The Vindicator has a post on their website saying more details will be printed tomorrow, and the legal fees and financial damages will probably be more than $1 million…. which is paid for by you, the taxpayer.
