Betty Montgomery for AG

That’s right…. Betty Montgomery, former Ohio Attorney General and Ohio Auditor, who lost in 2006 to Marc Dann, is very interested in running for Attorney General.
It looks like the Ohio GOP is finally getting its ducks in a row. Or are they?
Update @4pm: I guess they aren’t! The Dispatch asked Betty and she said no.

As a Pro Lifer… I am not a fan of Betty Montgomery. As a republican realist…. she is our best shot at winning the office back … but if she brings Mark Weaver back to run her operations….. forget it……
She would be a strong contender for the race. A lot of Ohioans are kicking themselves for voting for Dann instead of her.
Clearly, she is the best option available.
The “I Told You So” candidate.
Run Betty, Run.
Betty will beat Cordray.
And we’ll still get corruption. Then when the Republican screws up, the pendulum will swing back until the Democrat screws up. So exhausting.
Fat Betty has not shot. She was worse then Dann. Just wait until the commercials of her praising Noe are played on TV all across Ohio. Cordray wins easy.
Barry…can you leave a comment without talking about Mark Weaver? Are you Mark Weaver?
please run Betty, you are our only hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the way how alexis was running around the state throwing his weight around wanting finders fees from the firms that done state buisness, what a sham! She would be the worst contender that we could hope to put in there. She is neither Pro-Gun nor Pro Life and some think she is our only hope? Better toss in someone that has no connection to the status-quo and do our best. Is it not our “leaderships” fault that they never groomed any one for Statewide?
Can we have antonin scalia move to Ohio and run as AG?
Geez, this is getting ridiculous. Doesn’t ANYBODY want to be attorney general?
Somebody call up Jim Petro.
There are plenty of people who want to be AG, the problem is that this is a year that county prosecutors are up for re-election, so it narrows the field dramatically.
