It was Marc Dann, a Democrat and mediocre divorce attorney who Gov. Strickland proudly endorsed in 2006, who created an environment where middle-aged dirt bags, foul-mouthed idiots, perjurers, killers, double-dipping policemen, and bimbos could run wild in the office of Ohio’s chief law enforcement officer. This $1 million dollars is just some of what this scandal will cost Ohio taxpayers. Thanks a lot, Ohio Democrats!

These two girls deserve much more than the $400,000 their lawyer is demanding for each one for all they have endured, continue to and will in the future all because of dirty old men who abused their power in public office. At 26 these girls’ reputations with future employers are forever tarnished and they should be compensated for life with appropriate state wages including state pensions…their settlement should be in the millions. Shame on you Marc Dann and your cronies.
They deserve to be booted out in the street, do you want to know how this really went down? What their boss did was wrong, but what they are doing is even worse. They are taking away from the people who really were harassed.

Start with Cindy’s. Explain why she went to 2 bars and dinner before going over to Dann’s house if she was so scared? Jokes with him about pizza, then is drinking at his house. (Page 52-Line23) Why did it take 7 Months to come forward? Because they were to busy having fun on the states dime. Then things didn’t go there way.
All the people that look up to them will see what really happened when this ends up in court.
A paycheck was all these two were looking for, what about all the other females in the office, where is their payouts?
Oh Wow, it’s now apparent that WakeUp is just on a jealous and envious rage of sort and here I thought you just didn’t like the poor girl.
A jealous and envious rage, what are you talking about? I am not jealous of them. It pisses me off that they are going to get away with this. Everyone portrays them as so innocent, they’re not innocent. Read the transcripts. It amazes me that they contradict themselves all the time. They would answer no that did not happen, well there was this one time. They are just playing the system, and we the taxpayers are going to pay for it.
Where is the money going to come from to pay for this, the roads, the parks or how about the money that would be going to the schools?
Its not just Cindy, why did the other one even get a job? She didn’t finish High School and had a criminal record. So what about the other people who applied for the job and were qualified for the job? She had no place even being in that office. Answer me this, why was Vanessa keeping a log of all the people going in and out of Marc Dann’s condo before she even had a job? Isn’t that invasion of privacy?
I hope this ends up in court so all the supporters can see them for what they really are. I hope the states lawyer tear them to shreds.
A million dollars? It would have been cheaper to get Dann & his buddies hookers.
Well, unless they were Elliot Spitzer priced hookers.
Wake up - now that I see what you’re made of it’s honestly not worth my time or effort to continue this debate with you any further. All I can tell you is that these girls were wronged, they had the guts to stand up for themselves, something that many women did not dare to do up to this point and in the end were vindicated. Good for them. I applaud them for their courage and determination and if they are awarded monetarily, well that’s a bonus. Good luck Cindy and Vanessa, you should be very proud of yourselves and your families should be of you as well.

Wait I now why. That is the blog where Cindy is bragging to her friend not once, not twice but three times about being at Marc Dann’s place.

I’m sorry but if I was in a bad situation like that I would call a cab or send a text that said GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW, and I don’t think I would be LOL’ing.

I didn’t respond to this particular blog because there were no responses from others for me to respond to.
I can’t speak for the LOL’s because I don’t know what Cindy may have been responding to from text messages she was receiving from the other girl (Mariellen). Had all messages been saved (from Cindy to Mariellen and Mariellen to Cindy) and published along with these, then we would have had a coherent conversation where a response would even be necessary.
Have you ever wondered why Mariellen only saved Cindy’s text messages to her and not her text messages to Cindy? And why she presented them to HR more than a month after the incident for her own benefit to get out of the department and away from Gutierrez herself? She actually used Cindy’s trust in her for her own benefit and totally betrayed her. Oh and rumor has it that she’s looking for a lawyer to sue herself.

I would have to go back and read her testimony again, but I sure don’t remember reading anything about any of this in that document. Does that mean she lied under oath?
